PILLION RIDING
FOUR ON ONE MOTOR-CYCLE,
Dominion Special Service. Auckland, September 5. The use of one motor-cycle as a conveyance by four people resulted in the appearance of the driver in the Magistrate’s Court on a charge of permitting pillion riding. It was stated that a man was sitting on the petrol tank in front of the driver, and behind him were a girl and another man. The latter was carrying a gun and a large quantity of ammunition. A fine of £lO, with costs, was imposed.
