COLONIAL CARRYING COMPANY’S NEW PREMISES. The secretary of the Colonial Carrying Co., of New Zealand, Ltd. (Mr. E. R. Cross) writes: —"Under the heading ‘Ancient and Modern,’ there appears m Wednesday morning’s issue of "The Dominion” and article dealing with budding progress in Wellington, which mentions amongst others, ‘the tall building erected in. Victoria Street for the New Zealand Express Company.’ The building referred to is the property of the Colonial Carrying Company, of New Zealand, Ltd., and we cannot understand liow sueh a mistake came to be made, or how so totally dissimilar names could be confused. The building has borne our name prominently displayed thereon for the past twelve months or so. To the majority of the public not familiar with the facts, your article will convey a most misleading impression, and a very unfortunate one for us, inasmuch as the name used by you is that of an opposition house in the same line of business.”
