DOMINION’S HARVEST

WHEAT AND OATS THRESHED Returns of actual threshings received to August 20 from threshing mill-owners show that, so far, 8,771,352 bushels of wheat and 3,915,805 bushels of oats have been threshed out (says the Monthly Abstract of Statistics). The average yields per acre in eases where particulars of areas were furnished (covering 99 per cent, of total threshings) Work out at 38.40 bushels for wheat and 45.34 bushels for oats.
