WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE
BRITAIN’S NEW VOTERS (British' Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 1. To-day 5J millions of women begin to qualify for a vote by virtue of recent legislation extending the vote to women at the age of 21, on the same terms as men. New voters are required to have resided three months in the same constituency to entitle them to be placed on the register. Consequently at the end of three months, namely ou December 1, the majority of the 5[ millions of women aged 21 will be entitled to vote.
