LOCAL DAYLIGHT SAVING
Sir, —Now that the Summer Time Bill ha. been defeated in the House, it remains for citizens to adopt a local scheme of daylight saving, and I trust the Mayor will call a public meeting representative of as many interests as possible to discuss the matter. Time is passing—this is August—and I suggest that the proposed meeting should be held at a very early date. —I am, etc., H. R. FISHER. Karori, August 1.
