bible in schools THE BILL DEFEATED MAJORITY OF THREE VOTES By a majority of three votes, the House of Representatives early this morning rejected the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill. The measure occupied the attention of the House throughout the whole of the evening, and public interest was manifested by crowded galleries.
