LARGE FARMHOUSE DESTROYED. Br Telegraph.—Press Association Hawera, June 30. A six-roomed farmhuose, owned and occupied by Mr. F. Read, on Watino Road, five miles from Opunake, was destroyed by fire last night. The family had left during the morning to visit New Plymouth, and did not return home until last night. The insurances are not available. Are you adequately insured? Consult the Mercantile and General Insurance Co., Ltd,, Panama Street, Wellington. Prompt settlements.—Adyt.
