MIRACULOUS ESCAPE
MISHAP ON WANGAEHU HILL CAR PLUNGES 100 FEET (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wanganui, May 6. A motor-car proceeding to Wanganui this morning plunged over Wangaehu Hill and fell a hundred feet. The two occupants—a man named Symes and Miss Pearson —were thrown clear, having a miraculous escape. Both are in hospital suffering from shock and bruises. The car was wrecked.
