WORKMEN’S QUARREL
MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT v Dominion Special Service. Christchurch, May C. , As the outcome of the workmen’s affray in Webb Street, St. Alban’s, yesterday, John Edward Prebble, aged 37 years, was charged at the Magistrate’s Court to-day with assaulting Colin McDonald. He was remanded till May 14, bail being allowed. McDonald’s injuries as the result of the blows from the hammer were said to be not so serious as was at first thought.,
