FURTHER APPOINTMENTS

The following additional appointment? to the Massey Agricultural College have been announced: —‘

Agricultural zoology: Dr. F. W. Dry, M.Sc., D.Sc., Leeds, England, since 1921 Ackroyd Memorial Research Fellow at Leeds’ University, and for four years Assistant Government Entomologist at Kenya Colony. Veterinary ’.pathology and animal husbandry: Mr. J. McLtnden, M.R.C.V.S., a qualified veterinary . surgeon, who holds the National Diploma of Agriculture of Great Britain, and at present with the New Zealand Agricultural Department as officer in charge of animal husbandry. Botany and field husbandry: Dr. J. S. Yeates, ’M.Sc., Ph.D., who since his return from Cambridge last year has been engaged by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research to investigate the breeding of (lax.. Agricultural economics and book-keep-ing: Mr. D. O. Williams, ALA., F.E.S., at present lecturer of economics at Victoria University. Agricultural bacteriology: Mr. R. Waters, who has been engaged for the past fourteen years on biological research in the Department, of Agriculture, and during the last four years as officer in charge of the Biological Laboratory of the Fields Division. Nutrition of farm animals: Dr. S. A. Asdell. M.M., Ph. D.. demonstrator in agricultural physiology at St. Catherine’s College, Cambridge, England.
