SUCCESSFUL GATHERING.
Palmerston North, March 22
Mr. G. Craw’s training track was the scene of the twentieth annual gathering of the Linton Amateur Athletic Sports Club vesterday, when, although the weather was threatening, there was an excellent attendance. In both the athletic events and the cycling races good fields were attracted, with the result that there were many close and interesting finishes, while the trotting races, the children’s races, novelty events, and competitions made up an extremely enjoyable programme.
