CYCLE TEAMS’ RACE
A miniature of the six days’ race in America, the two hours teams’ cyclo race to bo held at the Basin Reserve under electric light to-inorrow night,. should provide plenty of thrills. Wellington’s leading cyclists will be taking part in the contest, and it is anticipated that there will also be teams from Palmerston North, Wairarapa, Christchurch, and possibly Napier. Sprints are held every ten minutes, and the tfeams are expected to cover about 50 miles. A number of field events has been included in tho programme, and entries for these close this afternoon with tho secretary, Mr. 11. D. London (telephone +4—639).
