MASTERTON MOTOR COLLISION
INQUEST OPENED. Dominion Special Service. Masterton. February 20. The inquest concerning the death at the Masterton Hospital of Frank Shackleton, of Masterton, following the collision on Saturday between a lorry and a service car, was opened before the Coroner (Mr. E. G. Eton) today. Dlr. R. R. Burridge appeared on behalf of the mother of deceased, and Mr. J. JI. Lang for the driver of the Black and White Company’s car (L. Tremayne). Formal evidence of identification was given, following which the inquest was adjourned sine die. CONDITION OF VICTIMS. Masterton, February 20. Inquiry at the Jlasterton Public Hospital to-night elicited the information that the condition of W. H. Long and H. Carswell, who were injured in. the collision, is satisfactory. The condition of F. hlarsh is serious, but not critical.
