TRIBAL BATTLE
ON TRANSJORDANIAN FRONTIER (Rec. February 19, 5.5 p.m.) Jerusalem, February 18. A great tribal battle has been fought on the transjordinian frontier. Feisal ed Dowish, the Wahabi rebel, whose raids on Iraq in December reduced the villages to desolation, attacked the Benisakr tribe, following their refusal to pay tribute to Ibn Saud. As a result of the fight the chief of the Benisakr and 120 of his people were slain.The tribe counter-attacked bravely, resulting in Feisal losing more than a hundred killed.
