The Hon. G. J. Anderson will leave Dunedin for Wellington to-day, states a Press Association message. Several Ministers of the Crown left Wellington yesterday. The Hons. A. D. McLeod, O. J. Hawken, and J. A. Young proceeded north, and the Hou. W, D. Stewart departed for the south. Dr. W. E. Herbert, who has been on a holiday visit to Great Britain, returned to Wellington by the Mataroa yesterday afternoon.' Sir George Elliot, chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand, returned to Auckland from Wellington yesterday. Dr. E. Marsden, permanent secretary of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, returned to Wellington from Hamilton yesterday. Mr. J. Phillips, of Clifton Terrace, left on a business trip to Sydney on the Marania yesterday.
Air. J. Holder, of Dannevirkc, is at present in Wellington. Air. E. Wilson, of Auckland, factory representative of Spear and Jackson, Ltd., and Joseph Rodgers and Sons, Ltd., both of Sheffield, England, is visiting Wellington on business. Mr. W. de Gruchv, local director of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, left on his return to Sydney by’ the Marama yesterday. Messrs. C. A. Hamilton and H. F. Harley, of Nelsqu, are visiting Wellington.,
