GROSE MAY NOT RIDE AGAIN The accident on the Christchurch cycling track, in which W. Grose, New Zealand champion, and J. Standen, of New South Wales, were involved was more serious than was apparent at first, and advice received by a member of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Council is that Grose’s cycling career may be ended. In the crash at Christchurch. Grose, who collided with a fence, suffered a compound fracture of the thigh as well as internal injuries, and will certainly not be seen in action this season ETA not be seen in action again this season.
