LORD GLANUSK DEAD
COLLAPSES WHEN OPENING MEMORIAL HOSPITAL London, January 11. Despite ■'the elector's warning not to attend public ceremonies owing to a weak heart, Lord Glanusk, LordLieutenant of Breconshire, arrived at Brecon to open the War Memorial Hospital, in which he was greatly interested He began his speech with the words, “Thank God for sparing me to see . this day,’’ when lie collapsed, was carried into the hospital, and died in eight, minutes. After the removal of Lord Glanusir his heir, Major Bailey, said that he was sure his father would desire the ceremony to proceed. Accordingly he handed over the deeds of the site to the chairman of the hospital. The Bishop said the dedication prayer,, when Lord Glanusk’s death was immediately announced. • , [Lord 'Glanusk was the second barpn of the title, and succeeded his father in 1906. He was 63 years of age, and is succeeded bv his son, Major the Hon. \V. R. Bailey.L
