NEW RECORDS ESTABLISHED. Bv Telegraph.—Peess Association. Christchurch, January 11.. At a swimming carnival in the Tepid Baths to-night, two New Zealand records went by the board. In the. 220 yards men’s championship, D. P. Lindsay registered 2min. 29sec. or 2 3-ssec. better than his previous record. In the 150 yards men’s backstroke championship. Moorhouse beat his own New Zealand record of Imin. 56sec. by two seconds.
