COMPULSORY INSPECTION Masterton, January 11. A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Romney Marsh Sheepbreeders’ Association was held tonight, the president (Mr. H. Donald, of Featherston) occupying the chair. Fourteen members attended representing all parts of New Zealand. A report was received from the sub-committee set up to deal with the question of compulsory inspection of all registered flock. The council adopted the report and it was decided to submit same to the annual meeting to be held in June next week, with a recommendation that all members of the Association be urged to have their flock voluntarily inspected. The official list of judges was revised.
