INQUEST ON OLD MAN. By Telegraph.—Press association,
Invercargill, January 11. An inquest concerning the death of Andrew Joses', who was found battered to death' on 'Stewart Island on December It. was held at the island to-day. The jury returned a verdict that deceased met his death about 4 a.m. on December 11 through shock and loss of blood, due to injuries received at the hands of Arthur Valentine.
