NEW ZEALAND CAPTAIN MISSING
WENT TO DUBLIN TO TAKE OVER THE MAUI POMARE
(Rec. January 10, 7.30 p.m.) London, January 9. The “Gazette” says Scotland Yard officials are searching for Captain Arthur Robert James Cant, who arrived in Dublin from New Zealand to take over the new Government steamer, Maui Pomare, and subsequently went to Liverpool, owing to a revision ot plans, since when he has not been seen. —Svd’nev “Sun” Cable. [Captain Cant, who was lately master of the Government steamer Hinemoa, running between Auckland and Norfolk Island, is widely known ill the New Zealand coastal service.]
