The Auckland office of the Nelson Company, Ltd., received the following radio message from Apia concerning the statements recently published reporting the sale of the business to Messrs. Lever Bros.: “The Nelson Comnanv is negotiating with a London syndicate for a big South Sea combine, with Mr. Nelson as managing director, conducting the business personally. All other reports are adverse propaganda.” . Messrs. Westbrook, Williams, and Meredith have been asked by the Administrator to meet the Mau Committee in Apia and submit to him in writing, within one week, what they propose to do to disperse the Mau.
