HOUSE ' RANSACKED DURING HOLIDAYS.

Feilding, January 9.

When Mr. ajid Mrs. C. Hostick, Grey Street, Feilding, arrived home on Saturday after a holiday in Auckland, they'found that their house had been entered during their absence and various rooms ransacked. A quantity of household linen and table cutlery to the value of £l6 was stolen, although other valuables in the house were not removed. Some few days previous to the occupants’ return a relation noticed that one of the blinds had been altered but didn’t attach any importance to the fact.
