4__ SERVICE CAR DAMAGED. Bi Tblegbaph.—Pbess ASSOCIATION. Woodville, January 9. At the Kiritaki crossing, on the main road near Daunevirkc, this morning, a motor-lorry driven by Jack Brighouse collided with a White Star service car. The driver of the service car and Miss Markham, of Wellington, sitting in the front seat, were uninjured, but a Chinaman in tlie back seat was thrown out and received bad facial injuries. The service car was damaged, but the lorry was not. Both vehicles were travelling slowly.
