MOTORS COLLIDE IN FOG
PASSENGER THROWN THROUGH WINDSCREEN. By Telegraph.—press association. Hamilton, January 9. A serious accident occurred on the Gordonton road at 8.30 a.in. to-day, when in a fog a heavy collision occurred between a car driven by L. Sweeney, of Hamilton, and another driven by Dr. Bernstein, of Morrinsville. Miss. Gower, of Gordonton, a passenger in Air. Sweeney’s car, was thrown through the windscreen, sustaining cuts on the throat and severe shock, and she is reported to be in a very serious condition.
