Dr. R. J. Sutton, of Napier, has been staying with his brother, Air. E. W. Sutton, of Hawera. Mr. S. G. Cooper, of Eltham, is visiting friends in Palmerston North. Mr. J. Maxwell-has returned to New Plymouth after spending a holiday in Auckland. ■ Mr; D. F. Stewart, of Sydney, is at present staying in Wanganui. _ After thirty-one years’ service, Staff-Sergeant-Major G. C. Black, of Wanganui, has retired on superannuation. Air. E. P. Badger, of Pahiatua, has returned after a trip up the Wanganui River. Mr. H. T. Gillies, of Hamilton, has been visiting ??ahnerston North. The Rev. F. Hartv, of Frankton, and the Rev. Harvie, of Cambridge, are Camping at Taupo. Air. E. Biss, of Wellington, is visiting Napier. Air. P. Tombs, well known musician, of Napier, is spending a holiday with his brother, Air. S.
