BODY RECOVERED
VICTIM OF CHRISTMAS EVE FATALITY The bodv of David Lauder, who was drowned near Somes Island on Christmas live, was found floating off Muritai at 2.45 p.m. on Saturday. An inquest will be held. On Christmas live a 14-foot yacht manned bv Keith Staff and Donald Mackav, of Seatoun, mid David Lauder, Adelaide Road, who had recently arrived from Scotland, sailed to Day’s Bav and started on the return trip to Seatoun. When in the vicinity of Somes Island the yacht capsized, and Lauder and Mackay were drowned. Staff succeeded in swimming to the shore. The body of Mackay has not vet been recovered.
