FEILDING SHOW The attention of those interested is drawn to the advertisement of the Feildincr A. and P. show on January 31 and February 1, and ram fair on the two following days. A very attractive prize-list has been compiled for the show, ring events, all classes of stock cookery and needlework beinp; allotted liberal prize money and handsome trophies. There are points prizes in all sections and a valuable cup for the competitor scoring most points in all the stock sections. Association's thirty-fifth annual show to be held on Friday aid Saturday. February 3 and 4, contains a very comprehensive list of show section-;. There are classes for horses, cattle, -heep, nigs, dogs, farm produce an i home industries. horse-leaping competitions, and a dog trial. Liberal prize-money is given in all classes, and there are many valuable challenge cups to compete for. The dates of the show should be very convenient for exhibitors who attend the Feilding and Dannevirke fixtures. as Woodville conies between these two shows, and exhibitors who stay over the weekend can depend upon their slock receiving every attention; good paddocking and green feed are supplied free of charge. The necessity for providing sufficient fodder _ for stock during the winter months is now fully recognised by farmers, some of whom are making adequate provision to have on hand ample supplies of hay (remarks an exchange). Paddocks have been saved for this purpose, and cutting operations will probably commence at the beginning or the year.
