LONG HAIR A HANDICAP London, October 12. The Australian High Commissioner, Sir Granville Ryrie, urged fifty departing Dreadnought boys to get the ship’s barber to clip their hair before landing in Australia. “They don’t like to see boys with long hair anyhow in Australia. It’s no place for it. It also might prejudice your chances. You cannot drive sheep and brush your hair at once.”
