MASTERTON CLUB.

Masterton, October 13.

“The last season was the most successful experienced since the re-orgamsation cf the club,” states the annual report of the Masterton. The club competitions all were keenly contested, the principal club trophies being won as follows:—Brough Cup (50 yards inter-club handicap), J. L. Williams; Masterton Swimming .Club Cup, Welch; Masterton Club Championship, R._ D. Horne ; _R. A. Rose medal (most points in evening events), R. D. Horne. The activities of the club were rewarded with an increased membership for the season of 69, the total membership being 98. < ■
