AUSTRALIAN LOANS
GOVERNMENTS ! URGED TO CUT REQUIREMENTS

Canberra, October 12.
At the conclusion of a meeting of the Australian Loan Council, Dr. Page (Federal Treasurer) stated that the council had carefully considered the position with regard to borrowing, both in Australia and overseas, and had decided to recommend the Governments represented to take steps for reduction of their loan requirements to a minimum.
