BALKAN DISPUTE
ENERGETIC MEASURES BY BULGARIA AGAINST MACEDONIAN ORGANISATION Rugby, October 11. Press telegrams reaching London indicate that the Bulgarian Government is displaying energy in the measures taken against the Macedonian revolutionary organisation responsible for the murder of the Jugo-Slav General Kovatchevitch, and that the Belgrade authorities are, meanwhile, displaying commendable patience. The Bulgarian Government has obtained by telegraph the requisite authority from King Boris, who is returning to Sofia, to institute martial law in the frontier districts affected. The Sobranje has been summoned for a special session on October 15. In their conversations with Bulgarian and Jugo-Slav diplomats representatives of the British Government have consistently urged modification in the face of the deliberate efforts by the Macedonian organisation to create a breach between the two Powers.—British Official Wireless.'
