NEW ZEALAND-MADE GOODS
Piled, high in (be office of the organiser of'tho New Zealand Pageant of Industries yesterday were neat packages to go to the shops in the prinejpal streets of Wellington. From October 25 to 29 about three hundred shops will make a special display of New Zealand-made goods. Their windows will be decorated with uniform posters, cards and streamers. The same uniformity will be a feature of the pageant at tho Town Hall, no heterogeneous collection of booths, but stalls of one design built of three-ply timber grown in the Dominion. During shopping week every person in Wellington should make a special effort to buy at least one NewZea land-ma do article. Even a single purchase made by each of a large number would make itself felt by the manufacturers in Now Zealand. What is made 111 New Zealand will be shown at the pageant.
