Yet. another of the pleasing and popular concerts for tho seafarer was given on Tuesday at flic Sailors’ Friend Society, when Mrs. Lionel Nelson was hostess. She was helped by a band of earnest workers, who were the iceipients of many encores. The. performers were Mesdanies Lionel Nelson. Ivor Wilson, Gordon, Miss Moore, and Messrs. Williams, Brown, and Read. Mrs. Ivor Wilson was at tho piauo. “Customs” was the word chosen by Mr. J. Moore, misstoner, for bis temperance address. Men, after thought, added their names to the pledge Iwok. The competitions again resulted in record rnerrimonl. Prizes came from the hostess and her friends and went to mi’ll in port.
