Pahiatua, October 12. The annual meeting of the Mangatainoka Tennis Club' was held on Monday night. Mr. F. E. Ward presided The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The financial position of the club was considered very satisfactory, there, being a credit balance of £23. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. F. G. The opinion was ex pressed at the meeting that, the exnenses were excessive, and that, it would be necessary to exercise more caution in the future.
