FEILDING CLUB. Feilding, October 12. That the past season had been generally satisfactory was shown in the annual report of the Feilding Tennis Club, which was presented and adopted at the annual meeting. The report stated that the past season had opened with unsatisfactory weather conditions, which continued until the end of December. During tho season from the club had played with Dannevirke, Wanganui East, and Rongotea./The club championships had been held during February and March, the ladies’ championship being won by Miss Barltrop aud the men’s title by H. McConachie. As indicated in the last annual report, steps had been taken to prepare a fifth court. This was now completed, and when fenced it would be available for play. The income for the year amounted to over £164, which with a credit balance left over from the previous season brought the total to £lB4 ss. 5d The total expenditure for the year amounted to £167 19s. Sd., leaving a credit balance of over £l6. The report also stated that the increased ball levy introduced last season enabled the committee to uso a great number of balls without encroaching on ordinary revenue.
