Ignorance of tho purpose and presence of the traffic buttons placed at the intersections in the main thoroughfares in Invercargill was responsible for the appearance of a number of motorists iu the Police Court the other morning, (says the “Times”). One offender, who did not appear wrote stating that he was not aware that tho “dumps” were there. Another motorist, in a recent case, said ' that he thought the traffic buttons were “filled-up potholes.”
