The Mexican Presidential campaign may be decided on the battlefield. Two candidates, General Gomez and General Serrano, heading the anti-re-electionists, have revolted, and a third candidate, General Obregon, is ready to take the field against them. Eight hundred soldiers and officers have revolted here, and there have been similar outbreaks at Torreon and Vera Cruz. The Government claims that it is in control of the situation.—A.P.A. and “Sun.”

A message from Nogales, Arizona, states: —Dispatches here report a revolutionary movement in Mexico City. Five hundred soldiers marched out of the city garrison at dead of night and took the field. Their destination is believed to be Puebla. General Obregon predicted the quick collapse of the movement. Several aeroplanes sent in pursuit bombed the rebels. This resulted in unknown loss of life, and created havoc among the troops. Additional four thousand federal troops have been sent to overtake the mutineers, and they are expected to engage in battle momentarily. Mexico City is reported to be under martial law and patrolled by fifteen thousand soldiers.
