FIRE IN BULK STORE
AIR CYLINDERS EXPLODE
Brisbane, October 3.
A fire at Maryborough destroyed a large building occupied by Denham’s, Ltd., as a bulk store and containing chaff and other products. Several explosions occurred among compressed air cylinders stored in the premises, and huge pieces .of molten metal were, thrown three hundred yards over two blocks of houses, and another hurled into a house across the street. A woman .was seriously' injured. Many windows in the vicinity were broken. The damage amounts to several thousands of pounds.
