Iu a lecture on “Old Auckland,” in the Epsom Librarv Hall the other evening, the Rev.’ C. A. B. Watson said he would like to see a statue of the Rev. Samuel Marsden erected iu Auckland (says the “New Zealand Herald”). “The only memorial we have to this great pioneer is, I think, a small tablet iu St. Paul's Church,” he said.
