ITALO-ALBANIAN TREATY
CONTRIBUTION TO PEACE OF BALKANS (Rec. January 22, 5.5 p.m.) Rome, January 22. A statement by the President of Albania follows that of the “Giornale d’ltalia” concerning the recent treaty. He savs that Albania feels more closely linked with Italv than any country. He believed that the Italian type of Government was best fitted for Albania’s needs, therefore it was best that Albania should throw in her lot with Italv, not because of any pressure, but because thev firmly believed it was the best possible contribution to the pacih- , cation of the Balkans.
