PANMURE SENSATION
AUTHOR BEFORE THE COURT Dominion Special. Auckland, January 22. A sequel to the sensational affair at Panmure (reported on Saturday), was the appearance in the Magistrate’s Court this morning of Leslie George Dunn, 16} years of age, who was charged with breaking and entering the counting house of David James Young, and stealing cigarettes, chocolates and gods of a total value of £3 10s. He was further charged with wilfully setting fire to Mr Young’s building in Bright Street, Panmure, on Thursda yevening. On the application of Senior-Detec-tive Hammond , Dunn, who is a small youth in short trousers, was remanded until January 27. The Magistrate made an order that he shall be kept apart from other prisoners in Mount iXden gaol while on remand.
