CONCEALED ARMS
> IN HUNGARIAN DEPOTS SENSATION caused in AUSTRIA .(Rec. January 21, 9.55 p.m.) London, January 21. The “Daily Mail’s” Vienna correspondent states that Dr. Deutsch,, former Austrian Socialist War Minister, asserts that the complete equipment, including powerful artillery for 600,000 troons, are stored in concealed depots throughout Hungary. There is also a modern factory near Lake Balaton, producing bombs and poison gas. The statement has caused a sensation in Austria, because the Socialists accept Dr. Deutsch’s view, that Hungary is making plans to recover Burgenland, with the assistance of Italy. —Sydney “Sun” Cable.
