DEATH OF RAILWAYMAN

Timaru, Dccembei 21 At the inquest to-day on David Max- ; well, who was fatally injured here on December 8 as the result of a railway accident, a verdict was' returned that death was due to injuries to the head, the result of a collision of a railway jigger on which the deceased was riding, and a railway train, no blame being attachable to the driver or fireman of the eticnne.
