MAORIS IN FRANCE
TO PLAY TEAM OF FRENCH VETERANS IN INTERNATIONAL TEST Paris, December 20. The failure of the experimental team of French youngsters at Beziers against the Maoris and the display of the veteran Dupont, who pulled the snle together, and was also largely responsible for the French points, have caused the selectors to pick a team of veterans to meet the Maoris in the international Test on December 29. The French team consists of Destarac, Jaurreguy, Bailette, Graciet, Velat, Dumanoir, Bader, Ribeyre, Piquiral, Prevost, Cassayet, Bousquet, Seyroux, Gonnet, and Etcheberry. The reserves include: Dupont, Besotguy, and Gliiko. The team s new internationals are: Velat, Bader, Prevost and Bousquet. The newspapers are doubtful even if such an experienced combination will be able to defeat the Maoris.
