GALA DAY’ AT TERRACE END NEW CLUB AT FEILDING Palmerston North, December 4. A bowling gala day was held at the Terrace Bnd Club’s greens to-day, there being present members of rinks from sister clubs. Following are the results of the day’s play:— , Northern (Barker, Thirtle, Bennett, Tapp) defeated Feilding (Wenham, Lovett, Moore, Quayle), 23—21. Terrace Bnd (Lancaster, Wallace, O’Grady, Johnston; beat Takaro (Swallow, Pauli, Stone. Smith), 29-10. Terrace End (Jamieson, Ashton, rer"uson, O’Shea) beat Feilding (Lumsden, McElroy, Cooke, Rose). 27—8. Northern (Kirk, Hodder, Tbornly, Palmer) beat Terrace End (Knowles, Thomas, Kennett, Tasker), 17—14. . Palmerston (Rudkin. Eglinton.
