ACCIDENT IN HAPPY VALLEY
Au accident occurred on the Happy Valiev Road on Mondav morning, at about 10.30 o’clock, when a horse ridren at a gallop bv a youth named George Hare, of Melrose, collided with a motor-car driven bv Septimus Knight, dairyman, of Happy Valley. The radiator of the car was* smashed in and the horse broke a leg and had ’to he destroyed. Hare was taken to the Public Hospital, where he received medical attention.
