NEW STREET NAMES
CITY COUNCIL DECISION The City Council decided Inst night to change the names of the following streets: —Amy Street, Karori, to Marsden Street; Balfour Road, Karori, to Darwin Road; Mackenzie Terrace to include the southern arm of Mount Street: Mount Street to extend from the Terrace to Salamanca Road; Marsden Street to Exe Street; Poto Street, Hataitai, to Kio Street; Glenbervie Cutting to Ascot Street.; Smith Street, Kilbirnie, to Raupo Street; Nikau Street, Miramar, to Caledonia Street. The new names of the streets have yet to be advertised and later confirmed by the council.
