FELL ON KNIFE WHILE CHASING CAT
BY Tblegbaph.— PßESS ASSOCIATION Dunedin, July 12. Robert Johnstone (aged 30) was found on Sunday evening in a street near the hospital with a knife wound in his stomach. He was taken to the hospital, wherfi an operation was performed. Foul play was at first suspected, but the mystery was cleared up by the injured man’s statement to-day to the effect that he fell .on a knife while pursuing his pet Persian cat to feed it. He is not dangerously ill.
