REMARKABLE POSITION
COMING POLITICAL CRISIS IN NORWAY. Oslo, July 9. The Storthing is faced with a remarkable position, arising out of a select Committee’s recommendation to prosecute all but two of Herr Berge s 1925 Cabinet for allegedly assisting the Norske Handelsbank with a deposit ot twenty-five million kroner from the Treasurv without the Storthing’s knowledge,'just on the eve of the bank’s failure. If the recommendation is adopted, there is sure to be a Cabinet • crisis, because the present Minister, Herr Wefring and Yonder, were in Berge’s Cabinet A niinoritv report recommends the Lower House to censure the Premier, Herr Lykke, for not informing the Storthing of Berge’s action.—Aus.-N.Z.
